My name is Tammye Harvey.  Although I’ve been teaching 4^th grade for the last several years, this is my first year at Chickasaw Elementary School. I moved to this area in June and I am enjoying exploring the area.

I’m excited to teach your children, and I hope to instill in them a love of reading!   I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Education from the University of Mobile.  I am currently pursuing my National Board Certification. 

When I'm not in school, I love to spend time with my two daughters -  Lexy is 25 and Hali-Ana is 22.  I love to watch football during the fall and softball in the spring.  Being close to the water is my "happy place".
