Welcome!

I'm Tammie Brown and I am the Gifted Educator with Chickasaw City Schools.  This is my fifth year as a Chieftain and my second year in the Gifted classroom.

I'm a graduate of the University of Mobile with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I also hold a certificate in Montessori Education.  I'm currently pursing a masters degree from Troy University.  I have taught as a Montessori Pre-K teacher, first grade teacher and as a second grade teacher.  Teaching is a passion.  It is something I've always dreamed of doing.  

My husband Al and I have been married for 31 years and we are the very proud parents to twin boys.  Trice is a senior at Auburn University pursing a degree in English Education with a double minor in Computer Science and Journalism.  Maslin is a senior at The University of Alabama pursuing a degree in Public RElations and is serving as a 2nd lieutenant with the United States Army National Guard.  We truly are a HOUSE DIVIDED - WAR EAGLE and ROLL TIDE!!
